The latest colors in the SUITE702 collection were inspired by stylist, colorist and visual artist Thomas Vermeer. He visited La Muralla Roja, the post-modernist apartment complex in Spain designed by architect Ricardo Bofill, and photographed the pastel-colored walls. Shirley and Olaf found the color combination in this photo so refreshing that it inspired their new collection. The combination of lilac gray, powder pink, sky blue and ochre gold is surprisingly unique.

Gold embroiderer Hendrik Slabbinck set up his own workshop in Bruges in 1903 which grew into an international reference in the field of liturgical vestments. Today, granddaughter Mirabel Slabbinck offers a refined collection of bed, bath and table linens that are still made by hand in the Venice of the North. Craftsmanship and an eye for detail are central to ‘Mirabel Slabbinck’ as well as age-old techniques that are passed down from generation to generation.
