This love for nature is since 1995 the driving force behind Fast’s passion for outdoor design. The Italian company wants to give people the opportunity to enjoy their outdoor spaces with all their senses.That’s why function and feeling go hand in hand in the furniture.

The use of aluminium is a common thread in the collections. As it is lightweight, versatile and ductile, it’s comfortable in use and offers endless design possibilities. During the years Fast also experimented with other materials – such as stoneware, wood, fabric and rope. As the company wants its customers to enjoy their outdoor spaces all year long, all the materials are treated to be long-lasting, weather resistant and completely waterproof.

Material durability and timeless design strengthen the sustainability

Another crucial feature of aluminium is its sustainable character. As it can be endlessly recycled, aluminium perfectly fits into the growing awareness about circularity. Besides Fast constantly experiments to push the borders of innovation and technology, as they are crucial for the evolution into a more sustainable future and a growing respect for our planet.

In order to objectify its sustainable character Fast entrusts the measurement of its efforts and environmental certification to a third party. Thanks to the LCA methodology the company can monitor the environmental impact of its products throughout their entire life cycle, while the Environmental Product Declaration brings transparency to the clients.

Two new collections invite you to relax

The cooperation with Alberto Lievore added a new organic sensuality to the typically aesthetic lines of the products. As a continuation of their collaboration the Spanish designstudio and Fast just launched two new collections: Ria Soft and Solaris.

Fast | Ria Soft

Both are an invitation to relax. While Ria Soft is designed for the residential market, Solaris perfectly responds to the requirements of the contract market. The three basic outdoor padded modules of the Solaris collection can be composed freely. The linearity of the extruded aluminium frame is softened by the generous, slightly rounded cushions. While the frame is available in all Fast colors, the backrest and armrests can also be embellished with a flat rope braid in six colors. Customization and personality are key in Fast’s design approach.

In the Ria Soft collection, which includes sofas in different sizes and a comfortable armchair, the weave is replaced by an extruded, die-cast and laminated aluminium structure on which ultra-soft cushions rest. Thanks to its small shapes, harmonious aesthetics and versatility Ria Soft blends easily into each context.
