A technological wonder

The idea of cooking directly on your cooktop is the stuff of science fiction. Cosentino, a world leader in the production of durable surfaces for architecture and design, in conjunction with Novy, a kitchen equipment specialist, have brought the future to us today.

The result is an exclusive “two in one” cooktop and worktop, aptly called Undercover. The secret? An induction hob integrated under an ultra-compact worktop in heat-resistant 20 mm Dekton. The only visible marks are a few notches and LED indicators that discreetly indicate the presence of the cooking zones. The advantage? A kitchen that combines cutting-edge functionality and advanced aesthetics. An innovation that conceals the technical side of things to add even greater vibrancy and perfection to make the hob the hub of the home, from meal preparation to dinners with family and friends.

Customise to infinity and beyond

Because no two interiors are the same, Undercover offers 240 customisation options with no fewer than 40 different worktops. Your imagination will know no bounds! What’s more, the selection of products in the Dekton range, developed on the basis of intensive colour and texture tests, will be continually expanded to include the latest Cosentino collections.

Breathtaking practicality

Novy Undercover has been designed to meet all your cooking needs, boasting the same performance as a top-of-the-range induction hob. Each cooking zone can be adjusted to any of the 10 available positions and the hob is equipped with a countdown timer and presets to control the power and timer. The flex zones, which will automatically combine cooking zones, make it easier to use large pots and pans, while the grill function is ideal for cast-iron utensils. Whether you opt for the 3 or 4 cooking zone version, each offers a maximum output of 3,700 W. The cookware can be placed directly on the worktop with no second thought and without, of course, skimping on the power of induction.

What about safety? A priority!

A red LED warns of the presence of residual heat on the cooking surface. This signal can also be projected onto the floor as an added safety feature. When switched off, the multifunctional worktop can be used for other purposes and transformed according to your needs – even into a desk.

Dekton® by Cosentino

Inspired by the beauty of natural stone, this innovative porcelain surface is ultra-compact and carbon-neutral. Its manufacturing process has been optimised thanks to SPT (Sinterized Particle Technology), which lends the material a performance that outstrips that of standard porcelain. The ultra-compaction process it has undergone means that it is free from the micro-defects that cause stress or weak spots, and it is also resistant to UV rays, scratches, stains and thermal shock. What’s more, the surface is virtually non-porous. These qualities make it an indispensable product for a wide range of indoor and outdoor applications, such as worktops, sinks, facades, paving and cladding. Another advantage is that this material, which is available in a wide range of colours and sizes, offsets 100% of its CO2 emissions over its entire life cycle. It is the only surface on the market that can claim to be carbon neutral throughout its product life. In fact, it is so reliable that the company does not hesitate to offer a 25-year guarantee.
