Free time and fun outdoors

Even though the borders between inside and outside are fading, life happens outdoors. The rhythm of activities slows downs so we can make the most of kicking back or a good meal.

In rooms that open onto nature, the furniture and accessories shape the days and evenings, creating a distinctive and relaxing atmosphere. The pergolas and sheds show off their graphic, architectural lines, their discrete and refined geometry that blend in with the greenery. Their modular structures can be adapted to the space, so you enjoy the sun or create a shaded corner. The side tables can separate and be combined based on your needs. As additional furnishings, they assert their importance while the dining tables are like sculptures. The frames and tabletops are made from contrasting materials. Expanded polymer and marine plywood coated in a primed clay finish, teak and ceramic structures or enamelled lava with luminous hues, mosaic effects… And let’s not forget the lighting, integrated or not, which plays hide-and-seek with the environment or creates a more spectacular effect. What if we stayed outside all summer?

Protection solutions

Modular structure systems, mounted or self-supporting, create shelters with modern and refined profiles. These extensions are almost invisible when assembled and offer different types of cover, equipped with solar lamps. Horizontal and vertical canvases made from flexible composite material glide along the anodised or thermo-coated aluminium frames. They can withstand UV and bad weather as well as block up to 91% of the heat and protect against glare. The breathable canvases allow air to circulate and divert the heat through the micro-perforations.

The maxi parasols (6 x 6 m) cover between 25 and 36 m2. Equipped with LED lights integrated into the ribs, with variable intensity and remote control, they provide optimal comfort. The space-saving models with side masts are fitted with a lighting system with central ceiling light, shade curtains, a windbreak system, and an intuitive opening mechanism and ergonomic handle. The rain gutters and bases for floor or wall mounting round out its functionality.

Time to eat in grandeur

The dining room table becomes the centrepiece of the room. Rectangular or oval, it captures the spirit of big summer dinners. In the middle of the greenery or under a canopy, the table is unique and creative, like a work of art. Many of the table models are handmade with innovative or composite materials, embossed effects, textures, and surfaces on the tabletops. Inspired by Palladian stone, Roman-era mosaic and terrazzo, here is a model made with fragments of agglomerated marble with resin (our photo). The big winners from this season are enamelled lava stone and cast glass, which fan out their dazzling, gleaming and transparent hues on a stainless-steel base adorned with coordinated colours, tone-on-tone – green, rust, cappuccino, or willow green. The large tabletops are made from vertical slats, accentuating the contemporary character of the shapes. The teak marquetry, outlining a sun, also goes outside to play with the natural light.

Side tables have the floor

Versatile and compact, equipped with organic or geometric lines on sculpted-wood bases and with faux-marble or monochrome ceramic tops in contrast with their teak, Iroko or Accoya wood bases, the side tables come in a range of sizes and materials. Monolithic and bi-material, they combine marble tops from Carrare with painted rigid polyurethane bases. The lava stone always shows off its warm shades with a waxed and polished finish, accentuating the shine of the material while the natural teak root is appreciated for its authenticity.

The triumph of lounging

From méridiennes, fireside chairs and sofas to low seating or chaises longues, single or double, get comfortable with thick cushions that are like mattresses and adjustable and reclining backrests. On luxurious deckchairs and daybeds, armchairs with footrests and refined lines resting on aluminium structures, you can simply decompress. You can laze like you’re on a cloud. On curved seats, made with wood that’s soft to the touch, sample the delights of lazing around.

The lightness of a summer table

More minimalistic than inside, the summer table puts the spotlight on nature. Whether it’s a seaside or more rustic ambiance, treasures of the ocean or fresh flowers, the motifs on the tableware create a link with the outdoors. In tableware, inspiration from the Mediterranean Sea and all the shades of blue are still in the spotlight. For more spontaneity, we don’t hesitate to ditch the tablecloth and favour the new environmental plastics and melamine with pastel or bright accents.

Lay your ideas on the table – coloured-glass plates that catch the light, decoration on the earthenware showcasing all the nuances of the ocean or stylised floral motifs. For a more formal meal, pick a theme or a harmony of monochrome colours – punchy hues of orange, lemon yellow and mint – and prioritise more traditional hand-crafted pieces. Outdoors, you can also play the refinement card with tinted mouth-blown glasses edged with a golden trim painted by hand by a Venetian artisan. They will twinkle and show off all their sparkle under the candlelight.

Wireless and portable lights

Manufacturers are comfortably offering indoor lights that function outdoors. The ultra-chic and fashionable portable lamp is a luxury lantern. It is stand-alone, meaning it can be placed on the ground, on a table, on a staircase and can be easily moved with its built-in handle. Made from resin with a Vienna straw effect or polypropylene, it can withstand the harsh outdoors. With their waterproof braided-cord burners in a nautical style, the portable models can withstand extreme temperatures.

The art of cooking outdoors

To create a friendly environment, nothing is better than preparing a meal and getting together around a fire. The large circular weathering steel braziers offer their flames, which also warm up the end of an evening. As for the kitchen, the compact elements form soft lines inspired by the 1950s. The AISI 316 stainless steel units can be installed anywhere, even by the sea or right next to a pool. This material is insensitive to chlorine, salt spray, and high temperatures. As a cooking area with burners, a grill, mini oven, plancha, sink, cocktail bar, everything is planned so you can show off your talents and enjoy your company.
