“JUNG is a story of yesterday and tomorrow, of tradition and progress, of people and visions, and of a lot of passion. It is a story that began 112 years ago and that is constantly being developed for the future.”
For three generations, JUNG has lived their “progress as tradition” motto. Founded in 1912 by electrician Albrecht Jung with his revolutionary pull switch, the company maintains traditions and values while also investing in sustainable technology. To such a degree, that even today JUNG continues to influence the market with innovative electrical technology, such as KNX, radio and Bluetooth® systems. “Our values have hardly changed since my grandfather founded the company,” says Harald Jung. “Quality, innovation and customer focus have always been at the core. What has changed, however, is our focus. Today the emphasis is more on digitalisation, sustainability and resource conservation. Each generation brings new ideas, but the core values remain the same and our motto reflects that commitment. Dialogue, both within the company and with our partners, ensures that these values are maintained.”

At JUNG, architecture means much more than just its own product range.
“Our products are made in Germany with precision, craftsmanship and specialist expertise in metalworking,” Harald Jung says proudly. “We offer unique link designs in real metal, with frames and inserts made of the same material. Our more than 200 products require separate tooling, with production processes meticulously tailored to the properties of the individual metals: aluminium is matt stained or lacquered, stainless steel is glass bead blown, brass is brushed, and metal is chrome-plated or refined with almost 24-carat gilding. In addition to uniqueness, collaboration is also key. For example, JUNG was one of the five founders of the KNX standard, a globally recognised standard for automating building technology. We combine design, functionality, technology and a holistic approach to our products. I therefore hope that JUNG will always respond to future challenges with creativity and a sense of balance.”
